Due to the increase in number of swimmers and spectators traveling, there will be NO bus. Therefore, can I please ask that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive at Palatine Pool, Blackpool.

15:30 Arrive at Blackpool
16:00 Entry to Poolside
16:15 Presentation: Leyland A & Division Top swimmers
16:20 Parade
16:30 Warm-up (15 min)
17:00 Gala commences

Seating:

There is a seating plan for this event at Palatine Swimming Pool and we must respect and sit in our designated Orange Zone. Please be aware that no sitting or standing on the steps of the balcony is permitted, and individuals will be asked to leave. Access to the spectators area is granted only by wearing our allocated wrist band. I must emphasis this, that spectator numbers are restricted to 66 including siblings. This equates approx. to 2/3 tickets per swimmer and are £3 each (same as previous Microleague competitions).

Things to bring:

• Carnforth Club kit (if you have it) – i.e. shorts, t-shirt and if your child has a black costume all the better.
• Carnforth Otters hat and spares if you have them
• A drink for poolside
• Racing goggles and some spares.
• A big voice for cheering
• Snacks like dried fruit, mixed nuts are great for poolside.
• No phones, iPad’s or computer games are allowed on poolside.

I am sure you will enjoy your day out, in what will be a very noisy and great atmosphere
