Yet more OTTERS SUCCESS from the weekend, this time in triathlon where 3 of our squad were representing the North West in the triathlon equivalent of the “Nationals”, the Inter-Regional Championships where the top athletes in the North West compete against 13 other regions.
The team that included Rhys, Daniel & Niamh came a fantastic 3rd 🥉with Rhys Ashton taking Silver in his individual event that places him number 2 in Great Britain for his age group.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Ben and Ellie who competed at the Albert Dock 2 mile champs yesterday in not very warm conditions.
Ellie won junior girls non wetsuit and Ben won men’s non wetsuit.
Well done both!

Microleague A team photo at 7:50pmMicroleague Team Captains with the trophy for 2nd place today. This was a great team effort effort. To do well in microleague the average level across the team needs to be high with good skills and few DQ's. Today some strong wins but importantly lots of swimmers achieving times and places that were stronger than in summer. That made a big difference. Well done team.
