Sunderland Open Meet – March 2016

A group of our senior girls and one of our boys travelled to Sunderland in March as the National Qualifying ‘window’ opened. Most of them had never competed at this super facility before, so it was great to get some long course experience in a new pool, competing against different swimmers.

Connor Salisbury achieved PBs in both of his events
Aimee Banks put in some strong times and will be hoping to get to Nationals again this year.
Alex Livingstone produced some good swims and will be looking to go a bit faster over the next few weeks to secure her first qualifying time for Nationals.
Holly Salisbury was at her best in the 50 & 100 Freestyle
Ella Mounsey produced consistent results although slightly off her times in this long course event.
Emily Reay enjoyed getting back competing in the Butterfly events again after a series of injuries over the past year.
